Zeurítia - Vendula Šmoldasová

Zeurítia is an exceptional jazz singer, who earned her place on the Czech Republic music map mainly due to her Brazilian project, singing bossa nova and samba in authentic Portuguese.

In 2008 her debut album “Zeurítia” was released by prestigious label Animal Music. The CD remains one of the best-selling titles in Czech in the field of jazz. It featurs, among others, Polish musicians Michal Tokaj on piano and bassist Michael Baranski.

Zeurítia is performing with her current project, specializing in jazz songs played in setting without any drums. Accompanied only by guitarist Libor Šmoldas, pianist jan Andr and bassist Peter Dvorský. All of whom belong to the best of what the Czech jazz scene has to offer.
